Fertility Center and Applied Genetics of Florida, Formerly Fertility Center of Sarasota and the offices of J. E. Pabon, M.D., P.A. evaluate and treat patients with Fertility problems. Dr. Pabon and his team provide the most advanced technologies as well as highly successful surgical treatments for those patients that may need an expert reproductive surgeon for a microsurgical tubal reversal, for an operative laser laparoscopy, for advanced hysteroscopic surgery for myomas or Ashermans syndrome, or for the surgical treatment of congenital anomalies.
In our clinic, each patient is well known to us. Their success and happiness is truly important on an individual basis. Dr. Pabon is personally involved in every clinical decision. Patients coming from other clinics are surprised at the personal attention that they reveive.
Dr. Pabon does not "weed out" difficult patients. We are expert at treating patients with diminished ovarian reserve and treat them without concern of a possible negative impact on pregnancy rates. These are patients that may have been told that their only option was egg donation. Patients are informed of the limits of technology and are allowed to try if there is a chance.
FC & AG of Florida is at the forefront of technology. We can claim the first office IVF in Sarasota (1997), the first outpatient microsurgical tubal reversal in Sarasota (1997), one of the first Florida IVF labs to routinely transfer blastocysts (1998), the first ICSI pregnancy in Sarasota (1998), the first frozen/thawed embryo pregnancy in Sarasota (1998), the first pregnancy after Pre-implantation Genetic diagnosis in the West Coast of Florida (1999-2000), the busiest center for PGS / PGD in West Florida, the largest internet based egg donor bank in West Florida, one of the first IVF labs in Florida to optimize embryo culture in a low oxygen environment (2009), the first clinic in Florida to join the Gene Security Network for DNA chip based pre-implantation genetic screening (2009). Recently, in 2012, we are one of the first clinics in the United States to shift our pre-implantation genetic diagnosis program to laser assisted trophectoderm blastocyst biopsies. This has resulted in pregnancies in more than 80% of patients that have had the embryo transfer of a normal embryo.
